SPECIAL ADMISSION OFFERS:

* Every Thursday and Friday night from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. is College Night. College students with ID receive FREE admission during this time. Certain special events including Frist Fridays and specially priced exhibitions are excluded from this offer.



HOURS

We are open seven days a week on the following schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday:
10:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Thursday and Friday: 10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Sunday: 1:00–5:30 p.m. (Cafe opens at noon on Sunday) 



ATTIRE
The Frist Center is an informal place. Casual attire is welcome, and we encourage people to dress comfortably.




MUSEUM ETIQUETTE

  • Please do not touch the works of art. Leave a distance of about one-and-one-half feet between yourself and any work of art.
     
  • Food and drink (including bottled water, candy, and chewing gum) are not allowed in the galleries.
     
  • Bags and packs of any type may not be worn on your back in the galleries. Large bags and umbrellas are not permitted in the galleries. Complimentary coat check is available for those items.
     
  • Photographing and videotaping works of art are prohibited.
     
  • No. 2 pencils may be used for note taking or sketching on hand-held paper. Ink, chalk, charcoal, pastels, and paints are not permitted in the galleries.
     
  • Children must be supervised at all times. No running or horseplay, please.
     
  • The use of tobacco products in the building is prohibited.
     
  • Cell phones may not be used in the galleries.
